We packed up the boat, the dog, and headed across the lake for a 3-day Crown land camping trip in Southern Ontario. The plan was simple: find a Crown land island campsite, set up camp, spend as much time as possible fishing, and hopefully catch some walleye for one of our favourite meals.... walleye tacos. We ended up catching way more fish than we expected, including walleye, bass, and some really nice pike that Cass managed to bring in. It turned into an awesome few days of fishing, camping, exploring, and just enjoying some time on the lake. I also had a crazy amount of brand content to film on this trip, so this week I’m stepping out from behind the camera and Cass is taking over the vlog. We spent 3 days camping on Crown land in Southern Ontario with nothing but a small boat, a campsite, and some time on the lake. After weeks of chasing fish and creating content, this trip was a chance to slow down and enjoy the reason we started doing this in the first place... spending time outdoors. We explored the lake, made some awesome meals, relaxed at camp, and of course spent some time fishing. The fishing wasn’t always perfect, but that’s not what made this trip special. The best memories came from the quiet mornings, shared meals, campfire conversations, and the simple moments that happen when you step away from everyday life.
