It was the last day of a 4 day ice fishing trip around Northeastern Ontario. We were staying at Poplar Point Camp (a hidden gem for outdoorsman). DAY 1 MY FIRST BURBOT: • Ice Fishing for W… DAY 2 – 3 NORTHERN PIKE: • FISHING with HOTD… We had an amazing opportunity to target lake trout through the ice for the first time. The trout lake we fished was about a beautiful 15km snowmobile ride from camp. Other than 2 other guests from the camp we didn’t see or hear another person all day. This area is truly an outdoorsman’s paradise with endless opportunities for fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.
